CATS, Jacob (1577-1660). Five printed leaves from Jacob Cats, “Proteus Ofte Minne-Beelden Verandert In Sinne-Beelden” Rotterdam: Pieter van Waesberge, 1627. This edition also has French translations. Including, “Et in Aequore Flamma est XV, O prodga rerum luxuries! XXXIII”, “Amor formae condimentum III,” “Nemo dolens patet libidini L,” and “Quod dolet intus habet VII “as the characteristic round engravings.
